Overview

I wanted to share my own unique perspective on why I disagree with any philosophy that compares God to a force. In attempts to keep this as short as possible, I have included several links in case you wish to do more research. In fact several lifetimes of research are required to properly present this topic, personally I'd rather spend my time doing other things, and hope what information I have unintentionally discovered will get the point across.

The idea that God is merely a force is actually derived from an ancient art called Alchemy. Much more than a middle-age art of trans-muting metals, it was and is the basis behind all mystical religions going back over 4,000 years.
The art of alchemy is based on the concept that god is merely a life force, and that this force can be manipulated for the purpose of the creation of spells, potions, spiritual experiences, and long life. Meditation, astrology are also tools of the art. Alchemy began in ancient Egypt and Babylon with Hermes Trismegistus, whose name "Hermes" in Egyptian is translated; "Her" which means "Ham", and "Mes" which was the synonym for "son of". So who was the son of Ham? Cush, and Cush begat Nimrod "the mighty hunter against God." And Nimrod, historically known as "Ninus," was the origin of approximately 90% of world religion. Somehow Cush learned this ancient art, taught it to his son, who then deceived the people of his day into worshipping him as not only a warrior king, but a god.

My accidental discovery into alchemy came when I was learning how to turn water into fuel. The most convincing technique involved creating something called "Orgone" from water, then directing orgone into the block of an engine. So what is "orgone?" Orgone is essentially life force. It has been given close to 40 names by different religions and cultures. Names like aura, chi, prana, etc. I ordered all the books, read forums and websites. As strange as it may sound, it's for real. Now what's really strange is the phenomenon that occurs with orgone experimentation. For instance, the goal of the orgone experimenter is to create an orgone accumulator. It's a small stainless steel cup, with stainless steel rings. Anyways, if one uses natural spring or river water(bottled, or distilled water doesn't work) and charges it with just the right voltage, after a few weeks the water begins to fizz and bubble. This invisible gas is believed to be orgone. It acts contrary to the laws of entropy and is attracted to objects, especially those with energy like a running motor for example. The flow cannot be controlled with tubes or anything as it passes through and even saturates any material, including crystals. Once it saturates an object, the object becomes weightless. People who have successfully run motors on this invisible gas have had to re-adjust the shocks on their vehicle, as the front end of their car lifts up due to a weightless engine block. Here's where it gets even weirder. After 10 years of experimentation, people from around the world have reported a long list of doe's and don'ts with orgone. Things like cell-phones, microwaves, even a person in a bad mood, can cause an orgone cell to become rancid. When exposed to a rancid orgone cell, people report suffering severe depression and mood swings. The only solution is apparently taking a long cold shower. Also, orgone peeks in the evening and weans during mid-day. Ok, so you would agree that this is getting pretty weird. Now try typing in the word orgone on the internet and see what you come up with. Many of the sites will be about magic, Wicca, charging crystals, or even cloud busting, i.e. weather control.

So what's the deal here, is orgone evil?
Well actually no. Orgone is merely the life or spirit that God puts into every living thing. It is in fresh food, fresh water, and even fresh air. Our goal in improving our health is to acquire as much of it as possible through diet and lifestyle. I guess the question would be; is manipulating orgone evil? That's for you to decide.
The word orgone was coined by Wilhelm Reich, and is the most commonly used word referring to life force today. Reich, a student of Freud, spent his efforts furthering Freud's work on love, sex and relationships. In the late 40's he discovered that he could cure cancer in a very unique way. He believed that cancer, as well as many other ailments were the result of a person's inability to love. He opened a clinic and began psychoanalyzing people with cancer in order to discoverer what it was in their past that was preventing them from fully loving their husband or wife. Allegedly very successful, the inevitable happened. The FDA did not respect his work and ordered him to prove his results with research. As this would be impossible, he ignored their request and continued his practice. Eventually he was thrown in jail and died a few years later in prison. Ironically it was his teachings that were taken completely out of context, and actually spawned the free love movement of the 60's.

Ok, so how does orgone and alchemy fit into everything?
Today the art of alchemy sounds like something that only exists in video games and fantasy novels, however throughout bible times alchemy was a cultural reality. Magicians and sorcerers were common place. When Moses confronted pharaoh, he had to outmatch the most powerful magicians in the then known world. He, through God, did so rather easily. The Egyptian's knowledge in alchemy was central to their culture and religion. Consider that a pyramid is merely a giant orgone accumulating device. Ancient pyramids were covered in gold which is highly conductive, and essential to the accumulation of orgone. What happens inside a pyramid is that all the life energy in the air, is directed from the edges and accumulates to the center. A few years ago I met a scientist in Vancouver who built a copper pyramid out in Abbotsford. He explained to me that he placed several pieces of meat throughout the inside of his pyramid to test that it was built at the right angle. The meat near the perimeter walls of the pyramid actually rotted before his very eyes, while a piece of meat in the center of the pyramid was completely preserved at room temperature even after 30 days. Of course my immediate question to him was whether he had brewed any wine in this pyramid? Amazingly he had, and claimed that he had recently brewed some wine for 2 weeks, went to UBC to have it analyzed, and was told it was approximately 10 years old. Ok, so was this guy full of it? I looked online to see what I could find. Sure enough, I discovered fields of pyramids in Russia where they brew vodka. I found Assyrian excavation where archaeologists discovered miniature pyramids in houses used for storing food. Wild hey! I guess this explains why the mummies were so well preserved after 3000 years. Imagine if the gold exteriors had never been razed.

Ok so carrying on. Is orgone the same as the spirit of god? Certainly not! God's spirit is completely different. And the power that comes with God's spirit is completely different as well. This is why Jesus says "I send you MY spirit" "I give you THIS power." When Jesus performed his miracles, he was actually being judged as to how his powers measured up to that of local magicians. The miracles Jesus performed were completely undoable by anyone without God's power. Healing the lame, giving site to the blind, turning 5 loaves into enough food to feed over 5000, raising a man from the dead after being dead for 5 days, and then Himself being raised from the dead.
Throughout history, most false religion was made possible by Satan teaching his disciples like his prophet Cush, how to manipulate life force and deceive his followers. So appalled was Shem, the son of Noah, when he saw the direction Nimrod was taking the new world, that he had him captured, tried and executed, then sent a piece of his body to each of the cities that he had founded as a warning not to continue in his ways. From that time on, Cush's knowledge was passed on secretly and shared with only those who were found worthy enough to gain membership into the secret societies of the local religions. Alexander Hislop describes this process in his famous book, "the two Babylon's."

So then, if today you saw an expert in alchemy wielding his powers, would you be deceived thinking that there may be some truth to "The Secret?" Perhaps you might even think; Jesus may have just been some guy who was an expert alchemist. Consider this. When Simon the Sorcerer, the most powerful alchemist/sorcerer in all the land, "whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, this man is the great power of God." when he saw Peter performing miracles, came up to him begging to learn his art, even offered him money to train him because he recognized the superiority of his/god's power. And Peter told Simon the sorcerer "You have neither part nor lot in this matter: for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you." Simon was only interested in wielding the power of God at his own discretion, and this mentality is completely incompatible with the spirit of God. Or how about this story; "And when they had gone through the isle to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus: Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him. And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord." Our faith is in a God who can not only overpower sorcerers, but gives us power so that "even the devils are subject unto us through your name."

Today the lure of magical powers seems irrelevant to us as Christians. Our world is more obsessed with acquiring money, possessions and fame. Consider that for 4,400 of the last 4,500 years of our history, the greatest possession was magical power. Magicians ruled their land with wealth and power. Kings were generally viewed as gods not out of tradition but because they possessed magical powers through the alchemic secrets passed down to them through their membership in the elite secret societies of the day. Satan even tried to tempt Jesus with this power that he had to offer; "And the devil taking him up into a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, all this power will I give you, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it."
So yes, the world we live in is a unique battlefield. Because we have practically no exposure to supernatural forces, we are wowed by insignificant manifestations of alchemy and sorcery. How many millions spend countless hours practicing meditation and yoga, with the goal of completely emptying themselves of all their negative thoughts? It's no surprise that we commonly hear reports of supernatural phenomenon that occur once this state is achieved. Zhen Buddhists report experiences similar to the effects of mind altering drugs. It's curious how the Greek word for our word sorceries is farmakia. How contrary is this to the Holy Spirit that we can choose to accept, and as a result receive continual love, joy, peace, and wisdom providing we don't grieve the spirit. Those who experienced being in Reich's orgone accumulator describe being filled with a euphoric feeling of love and ecstasy. Ask someone who has experienced the laying on of hands in a Pentecostal church,and they will describe the same phenomenon. Turn on a Benny Hinn special, and you'll hear him repeat the word "power" every few minutes. Krishna cults in India experience all the same phenomenon as seen in Pentecostal churches today. Loss of control, feelings of ecstasy, trances etc.

 

 

Now that magical arts have appeared to have completely vanished, the general populace, while claiming to be scientifically based, and thereby only believe what they can see and prove, are now more susceptible than ever to the deception of sorcery. Millions flock in any direction just for a mere glimpse of magic, even if it's just in the form of fantasy. Movies, books, video games etc, have boomed. Harry potter dazzled millions with his small minded version of mystical powers, as he quested for the alchemist's stone. ""I am the servant of The Secret Fire, Wielder of The Flame of Anor.' You shall not pass!" Shouted Gandolf the wizard while wielding the Staff of the breath of life, then touched his staff to the stone bridge, alchemising it into a weaker stone. Or how about Jedi's who wield light sabres, powered with a crystal charged with the Jedi's own "force." This same force which may turn dark if the Jedi cannot control his emotions through strict meditation. 9 million log on to the video game, Warcraft where magical powers are wielded, potions are created through skills in alchemy, and magical powers can only be regenerated through drinking sparkling mineral water.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now consider Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. . . 25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the creator."
And how about Romans 13:1 " every soul be subject to higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."

Humanities decision is simple yet difficult. Worship the life force as god, or worship the God who created that life force. The former frees us of guilt, giving us power that we can use at our own discretion. The latter requires submission to a higher power that is not merely a force but a personality whom we can come to know if we submit to. This test has always proven to be the most difficult. Adam and Eve were both lured by the opportunity to be their own god. The devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness by first tempting Him to abuse his own power, then offering Him his own power, then finally tempting Him to abuse the power of God. Jesus depended fully upon the power of God, and received this power by talking with God. "And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God." Now read the results of this entire night of prayer with His father: "And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear Him, and to be healed of their diseases; And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went power out of him, and healed them all." So filled with His father's power, that people were healed by merely touching him! In the last days, because people will refuse to repent of their "murders, or their sorceries, or their fornications, or their thefts," God sends His plagues upon the earth. How about you right now as you read this? Do you find this these mysterious arts alluring? If so, why? If you have experienced the true power of God living in you, then why would you desire more power. Anything that this other power offers, God offers much more. "that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ , when He raised him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in heaven. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in the world that is to come and has put all things under his feet."

Fittingly, our final reward for making the choice to be sealed by God's Holy Spirit, will be eternal life in heaven because we drink of the water of life, and eat from the tree of life, which is fed by the river of life.
