Antichrist (keeps beast in power for 42 months/ 1260 days and kills the saints)

Matthew 24:9. "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
10. "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and hate one another.
11. Then many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
12. "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
13. "But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Mark 13:9. "But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. And you will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.
10. "And the gospel must be preached to all the nations."
11. "But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given to you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit
12. "Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
13. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Rev 13:1. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea ¹ having 7 heads and 10 horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
2. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
3. ² I saw on of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.
4. So they worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshipped the beast saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"
5. And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was granted authority to continue for 42 months.
6. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
7. And it was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue and nation.
8. And all who dwell on earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

-after the beast is healed to the point where it rules the world, it will continue to rule for 42 months

Rev 11:3. “And I will give power to my ¹two "witnesses, and they will prophesy 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
4. These are the two olive trees and the two lamp stands standing before the God of the earth.
5. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.
6. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain will fall in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.

¹Just as Satan has been granted to use an empowered being to deceive the world, God will use 2 witnesses to spread truth. What exactly they are is unclear, however just as God came down to see what the soddomites were doing, then sent two witnesses, He sends the same to "spiritual Sodom and Egypt"
