An challenging look at understanding Prophecy
INTRODUCTION
• According to the literal approach of interpreting Revelation, you will notice that the passages tend to cycle the same events. First it was the trumpets, then the seals. Now we have the beast, who was given a mouth. Then it goes on to describe a 2nd beast. The church I attend strongly believes the 2nd beast to be America, and quite honestly it fits very well. The thing that doesn't fit is that a few verses later it is clearly describing the actions of the antichrist who is doing very similar things to the mouth of the first beast. So where does it mysteriously stop talking about America and start talking about the antichrist. Secondly, Revelation 18 gives more detail about the 10 horns, who "are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast, " who rule over "every tribe, tongue and
nation" and give "their kingdom to the beast."
If America has any significant purpose, it will be apart of one of the 10 horns lending its power to the beast. Lately on the news, it is being discussed as fact that in the next 2-3 years the North American trade Union will merge Mexico, Canada and America into one union, bringing with it the creation of the Amero currency, just like the Euro.

`THE MOUTH`
• Before we get to the verses describing the 2nd beast, lets take a look at "the mouth" of the first beast.
Rev 13:5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.
6. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
7. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.
8. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Blasphemy. The greek definition is “evil speaking" however we know that Jesus was accused of blasphemy when he claimed to be the son of god or forgave sins. Looking at the context of this verse, plus considering the meaning of the abomination of desolation pointing towards a counterfeit sanctuary being built on earth, I am certain blasphemy refers to Satan`s mouth or man of lawlessness counterfeiting God, His name, His angels, and His tabernacle.
GOSPELS and REVELATION WARN of a FASLE PROPHET
• As you read on the page about the seals, it describes early on in the gospel prophecies that “many will come in my name saying I am the christ." Now later on in the gospels we have something similar, yet quite different. False Christs and prophets arise to show great signs to deceive. This is exactly how the other passages describe the activities of the antichrist. The difference in the gospels description is that the wording seems to indicate multiple christs and prophets, where as in the other sections of prophecy, they are described as one false prophet, who acts as a fasle christ, or antichrist.
Mat 24
23. "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it.
24. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25. See, I have told you beforehand.
Mar 13
21. "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'Look, He is there!' do not believe it.
22. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
23. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.
Rev 19
20. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
• Here in Revelation, it is a single false prophet who worked signs.
2nd BEAST DESCRIBED
Rev 13
11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
12. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.
14. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth—by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
15. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
16. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
17. and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
IMPORTANT! The False Prophet and the 2nd Beast both work signs in the presence of The Beast, deceivinig the world to worship the beast.
Rev 16
13. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
If the 2nd beast is the false prophet, look at these verses, and decide if it makes any sense that the 2nd beast is America
Rev 19
19. And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev
20 (after the 1,000 years)
9. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
10. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Clearly if the 2nd Beast is the false prophet, he is demonic, and must be the what we understand to be the Antichrist, as it is rediculous to think that america will be cast into the lake of fire for 1,000 years.
Now what about the symbolism
• First point; 2 horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 24 times in revelation, Jesus is referred to as the lamb and 12 times satan is referred to as the dragon. This beast has 2 horns like Jesus, but speaks like satan. Ok so why 2 horns? Dan 11 will explain this.
• 2nd point; the beast comes up out of the earth, rather than the sea. If seas represent people, what does the earth mean. Yes america was fairly unpopulated, considering the few million American Indians, but is a sparsely populated continent what earth represents?
• Here's a different idea. what would be the opposite of people? no people.
-
what kind of beast would consist of no people? A demonic one.
yes, it sounds a little strange, but follow along. The demons begged Jesus not to send them to the abussos, which in the New testament refers to the abode of demons. The 5th trumpet sounds and an angel is given a key to abussos. The beast ascends out of abussos in Revelation 11:7 and 17:8. Satan is cast alive into abussos for 1000 years. If the beast arises out of abussos, this clearly indicates the demonic involvement in this new kingdom. This means that the 2nd beast is shedding light on the demonic aspect of the 7 headed 10 horned kingdom.
Dan 11
38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.
39. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.
• Plural gods, very odd isn`t it? The king of the north worships a god which the people of that region have never worshipped. So what gods have the Arabs and Jews never worshipped? And furthermore, ponder how it is possible for this king to concquer kingdoms with gods.
MAN OF SIN
2thes 2
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
8. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10. and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12. that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
• I used to wonder whether this lawless one, or antichrist would actually be Satan himself appearing as Jesus. However from the verses here, its obvious that it is not, as he will be destroyed when Jesus returns, and Satan will be preserved for 1000 years.
CONCLUSION
• After looking at all these verses, it looks certain that the 2nd beast is the antichrist who is granted to have power. But what is the 2nd horn? Well as you read ahead this is explained. “he was granted to give breath to the image of the beast “ So you have an antichrist and an image that comes to life. So what is the image? The answer is really quite obvious. The 2nd beast causes the earth to worship the first beast, who`s deadly wound was healed. Since it was the Catholic church who received the deadly wound, it is obvious that the antichrist would be counterfeiting or blaspheming Jesus, who the Catholics worship, and the image would be none other than Mary. 2 horns, like Jesus, but speaking like satan, whom those in the middle east have never worshipped before. Oddly enough, the original Babylonian goddess Semiramus was given the title, "Goddess of Fortresses."
If you have a hard time believing this, I recommend watching the vidoes linked below which will expose you to the extent that Marian phnomenon is engulfing the world.

One video I saw on the Catholic channel and have been unable to link so far was of a Catholic visionary who had an encounter with Mary while in a room filled with images of female goddesses. Mary said to her look around this room. I am all of these.
Just like Diana of Ephesus, claiming to be all the goddesses of the world, mother of all the gods. Just like the Bible says, Mother of all the harlots.
Revelation Main Page
The 7 Trumpets herald the beginning of the last days. Are they literal or symbolic, past or future. You decide.
The 7 Seals of Revelation parallel the gospel prophecies of Matthew Mark and Luke.
The 7 head 10 horned beast rises to power and rules the whole world militarily and spiritually, and makes war with the saints.
The 2nd beast of Revelation exists at the same time as the 1st. Is it the antichrist or America, you decide.
The 144,000 described in Revelation have a very inspiring message for those who live through the time of the end.
Jerusalem, the highly debated city. Some say it will be the center of end time events, while others claim its merely symbolic.
The Abomination of Desolation is mentioned as happening in the early days of the new testament. Some verses point to end times.
The 2 Witnesses of Revelation. Not everything about them is revealed, but many clues are evident.
The Close of Judgment which precedes the 7 last plagues is clearly described in 2 different chapters of revelation.
Special Resurrection. Jesus returns to resurrect the saved and some of the lost.
