23. "But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.
24. "And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Luke 21

- notice how Rev 11 seems to paraphrase Luke.

Rev 11:2. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for 42 months.

Rev 18:6. And I saw the women drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
7. But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the women and of the beast that carries her, which has 7 heads and 10 horns.
8. “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet shall be present.
9. “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the women sits.
10. There are also 7 kings. 5 have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes he must continue a short time.
11. “And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is one of the seven and is going to perdition.

Rev 6:9. When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
10. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on earth?"
11. And a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should ¹rest a little while longer, until their fellow servants and their brethren were killed in the same manner as they were, was completed.

¹The greek word for rest is "anapou" which is rarely used and means: wait a little while.

Rev 7:1. After these things, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.
2. Then I saw ²another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,
3. saying. "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."
4. And I heard the number of those who were sealed. 144,000 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: . . . .
